Arrival - through which means?

With obeisance to Sage Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, I dare to share a few reflections with those whose care to peer into those perspectives that  are beyond dimensions – the words of the self realized ones who out of compassion word the inexpressible so that the thirsty might at least wet their throats if not drink their fill.
Sage Ramana Maharshi said
“There is nothing to attain and no time in which to attain. You are always that. You have not got to attain anything. You have only to give up thinking you are limited. Give up thinking you are this body.”
As simple as this statement seems  to sound so complex indeed is its import. It contains the entire gamut of spiritual exercises from Vichara / self enquiry to  Bhakti /devotion to  Yoga / Spiritual exercise of uniting individuality with Totality and back to bhakti and vichara  and finally transcendence of all division.
Shri  Nisargadatta Maharaj describes the steps to the tantra or practical method of this complex amalgam of ‘arrival’ as –
“Move attention away from the chatter within, observing it only as a witness, unconcerned ...
Then the chatter will not disturb. If resisted it will disturb more. Need not judge it as good or bad – the chatting will settle by itself.  Just ‘Be’. When the ‘maya’ goes the ‘Consciousness or Beingness’ will settle by itself. Only focus on Beingness not on maya or anything else. Once established in Beingness, maya will serve you. Stabilizing will take time … Remembering constantly that you are not the body the effect of happenings around, body-consciousness and experience will lessen … Once you understand ‘ I am’ there is nothing further to understand … Once you know the ‘I – am ‘ there is no one left to say that nothing is everything.”
Now do note that Ramana Maharshi’s first two lines define realization. The third line assures success to one and all. The fourth describes the Pathless path to what always is our very nature. The fifth is a cryptic clue to achieving the stated aim through steps as described in Yoga – sadhana or meditation procedures or upasana described in esteemed  spiritual texts or treatises.
The true and final goal for all is Self – Realization.
Take any means to reach it as suits your temperament – bit arrive do.
